Fit young Engineer (fitter/turner/welder) with oodles of get up and go!
I recently left the role of Chief Engineer/Engineering Manager for a major manufacturer in Lower Hutt, after spending 8 years improving their engineering operation and modernising their facility. I left to pursue a new dream of building something from nothing.
I bought a van and threw all my gear in the back, allowing me to bring the workshop to you.
I have vast experience and knowledge in industrial engineering and couldn't possibly list everything I have been involved in. A few things I am experienced with though, are: machine removals, installations, refurbishment and modification, compressors, vacuum pumps, steam boilers, pressure vessels, pneumatics and hydraulics, electric motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, pipe fitting, machine safety and guarding upgrades, automation and many other things.
Some of the services I can currently bring to your site include:
General welding (mig, tig and arc), breakdown response,
general repairs and maintenance of machinery, general fitting, bearing replacement including electric motors etc (I have a TWIM 15 induction heater and TMFT 36 install kit on hand), boiler knowledge including water testing and treatment/dosing, so on and so forth. Shift cover, If you have an engineer taking some well deserved leave and need someone on-site covering, ready to respond if your production goes down. An extra pair of very capable hands on a project.
